Brand design / Signage
Duration of the project: Ongoing – First deliveries: April 2014
The signage program of the city of Le Havre focused on a series of establishments under municipal authority / child day care, schools, high schools, museums, pools, multimedia libraries, libraries, parks, gardens, cemeteries, association premises, community centers / aims to renew the disparate signages which bear different city identities and to set a signage code according to the urbanistic development of the city.
The brand design and signage mission consists in setting a signage code adapted to the city center - rebuilt by Auguste Perret who did a remarkable job with concrete, and to the more recent, dynamic and plural urbanism shaped neighborhoods / Greens spaces, individual houses and medium size welfare housing.
A signage created in a contemporary material was the answer, the Ductal concrete - concrete made of metal particulates which allow soft forms, marked with the national colors - blue, white and red, to recall to everyone the nation's values conferred in any buildings opened to the public, with information mainly focused on the users / school, pool, museums.
